Payment Policy
- Payment Methods
All payments on Lenta must be processed through Lenta’s secure payment system. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other approved digital payment options. Direct cash payments or external transactions are not allowed and may result in account suspension.
- Payment Process
Renters must pay in full at the time of booking to confirm their rental. Payment will be held securely by Lenta until the rental begins. If a security deposit is required, it will be temporarily held and refunded upon item return if no damage or loss occurs.
- Security Deposits
Some lenders may require a deposit for high-value items. Deposits are held through Lenta’s system and will be refunded within 3-5 business days after the item is returned in its original condition. If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen, the deposit may be partially or fully deducted to cover repair or replacement costs.
- Cancellations & Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the lender’s cancellation policy, which is displayed on the listing. If a lender cancels a confirmed booking, renters will receive a full refund. If a renter cancels a booking, refund amounts are based on the lender’s cancellation policy. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 3-10 business days to reflect.
- Late Fees & Additional Charges
Late returns may result in extra charges, as determined by the lender. If additional rental days are needed, the renter must request an extension through Lenta and pay accordingly. Failure to return an item within the agreed period may lead to additional charges or escalation to Lenta’s dispute team.
- Disputed Payments
If there is an issue with a payment or refund, renters and lenders should first attempt to resolve the matter directly through Lenta’s messaging system. If a resolution is not reached, Lenta’s support team will mediate based on platform policies. Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes outside of Lenta may result in account suspension.
- Prohibited Transactions
Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited. Any attempt to pay or accept payment outside of Lenta (e.g., cash, PayPal, bank transfer) may result in account suspension or removal. Renters and lenders must report any requests for off-platform payments immediately to Lenta’s support team.
